At the Farmette #12 - Just another day in paradise...

The farmette is located on a tiny barrier island in the Atlantic. I feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. There are great views everywhere you turn. Here is a sampling from 2015...

  2. Rust gorgeous! I grew up near the ocean and loved being able to go there anytime. I miss that.

    Adorable pony!

  3. oh, wish I was there with my toes in the sand! The ice is lovely too, but in a much more threatening way. Barrier islands are fascinating ecosystems, we don't have them here on my portion of the west coast, the ocean is so deep right near shore.

  4. Wow, it really is beautiful...how are you connected to land, or are you? Would make travelling for necessities interesting I can imagine. Or is it a bigger island with supplies/stores etc of its' own? Oh, do tell I am so curious!! I'd love life on an island! Your pics are beautiful, and I love your suntanned toes shot especially...I had brown toes for a while, but now they're quite pasty white. Ugh! Since the onset of December, all we've had is rain, rain, rain and torrential mudslides and flooding. I'm so happy to hear that you've got your mortgage business all settled - that would have sent me into the pits too. Happy for you!
